I’m a lifelong resident of this community—a product of the Frederick County Public Schools, a business professional, and most importantly, a husband and father, raising my daughter Alexandra here with my wife Erin. I grew up in the Stonewall District working in the family greenhouse and nursery business, and like you, I care deeply about the future of this county.
In my four and a half decades living here, I’ve watched Frederick County grow—from 34,000 people in 1980 to nearly 100,000 today. I’ve seen orchards replaced by developments, fields turned into parking lots, and more traffic jams than we ever imagined. Growth is happening—but it’s time we start managing that growth with purpose, with planning, and with the voice of the people at the table.
That’s why I’m running: to ensure that Frederick County grows smart, stays safe, and remains a place we’re all proud to call home.
Responsible growth means taking every factor into account: existing infrastructure, future needs, tax revenue, job creation, and the impact on our schools, roads, and natural resources. Growth shouldn’t just benefit a few—it should strengthen our entire community, protect our quality of life, and reflect the values that make Frederick County such a special place to live and raise a family.
When the county does choose to spend, that spending must be thoughtful, transparent, and intentional. No more blank checks. No more pet projects. As your Supervisor, I will be the strongest fiscal steward on the Board, because I understand the value of a dollar—and I will never forget that it’s your money we’re spending, not the government’s.
As a Supervisor, I will prioritize public safety funding, fight for smart investments in training and infrastructure, and make sure our community never forgets the critical role our volunteer public safety organizations paid and play. These dedicated volunteers are part of the backbone of our emergency response system, and they deserve the same respect and support as their full-time counterparts.
My opponent's failure to plan will cost the county millions. "Planning with a Purpose" isn't just a slogan. I will have a practical approach grounded in solutions, working collaborative with the board and key stakeholders to address the challenges we face.
I believe government works best when it listens. Too often, citizens are asked for feedback and then never hear another word. That’s not how I operate. As your Supervisor, I’ll prioritize transparency, accountability, and public engagement. You’ll always know where I stand, and I’ll always be available to hear your concerns.
